If you’re in the market for a new smartphone, it might be time to check out the Oneplus Nord CE 5G. This device has just launched in India and features a Snapdragon 750G chipset, which is already familiar to buyers of the mid-range segment. It’s also powering smartphones like the Galaxy A72 and A52 5G, and Motorola’s Moto G 5G. The processor includes six A55 cores clocked at 1.80GHz, along with Cortex A77 and A55 cores, and LPDDR4X RAM. The OnePlus Nord CE is a very attractive phone for those looking for a high-end Android phone, but it lacks a few features. For example, it doesn’t have a 3.5mm headphone jack, nor does it have the classic OnePlus three-position do not disturb switch, which lets you choose between vibrate only and do not disturb mode for notifications. While the OnePlus Nord CE does have a very decent display, it’s not as distinctive as the Nexus 6 or iPhone X.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G offers a 6.43-inch AMOLED punch-hole display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The pixel density is 410 ppi, and the aspect ratio is 20:9. The display is decent in direct sunlight and is readable even with a pair of sunglasses. The display is adjustable, and you can change the refresh rate from 90Hz to 60Hz.

If you’re experiencing issues with your OnePlus Nord CE 5G’s battery life, you may want to uninstall apps that promise a longer battery life. In addition to uninstalling apps that claim to boost battery life, you should also remove any mod applications that may be occupying your memory. Hard-resetting the device is another option to resolve the issue. However, it will void any warranty or coverage.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G smartphone offers fast charging, and it’s also quite good at delivering a full day’s worth of battery life. It supports 30W fast charging and comes with a Warp Charge 30T charger. The battery life is good, but the Nord is a better choice for those who want to maximize their mobile computing time. The battery lasts up to nine hours under extreme conditions.

The Nord CE is more compact than its predecessor, the Nord, and is slimmer as well. It’s only 7.9mm thick, and weighs 170g less. The Nord CE is perfect for users looking for a slimmer and lighter phone. The camera is a good choice and it does its job in most circumstances. But it doesn’t get the star quality of the OnePlus 9 Pro. The Oneplus Nord CE isn’t a major upgrade over its predecessor.

The OnePlus Nord CE offers three different colours, Blue Void, Charcoal Ink, and Silver Ray. It runs on Android 11.x OS and OxygenOS 11. It’s a core edition of the original Nord device. The only notable difference is the absence of the iconic alert slider that lets users choose which profile to display. Oneplus has incorporated a ring/vibutton instead of a dedicated notification slider.
